We are called New Fro Matter. Consisting of my friend Bruce (B.B.S) and i (MC FOO), we are an upcoming rap crew here to spread the love of "New Age HipHop" (meaning that we use different types of genre for our music, but it will always be layered with that hiphop touch! Endless possibilities!)

My girlfriend and i celebrated our 20th Month together today!

We watched a movie called "TOKYO" and it is the weirdest yet most unique film we have ever encountered.

I made her cocktails and we had Thai Cuisine for dinner. Presents too of course ;)
Oh and we fooled around at my home studio, not doing anything naughty... but we made a short jingle for ourselves. I present to you our "FuFoo Day" Song

HALF WAY THROUGH MY HOLIDAYS
Been missing out on blogging the past Month or so! WHY... well i have

Been busy compiling a Rap Album with my friend Bruce! (Yes i rap now)
Been busy learning how to make Cocktails (ahh... refreshing!)
Been busy watching movies (Old and New)
Been busy starting Gym! (Fit is a must)
Been busy TRAVELLING!

BACK FROM VIETNAM BABY.

It was a sweet trip, went there with my lovely parents. One of the things that stood out to me was that a whole Vietnamese family would sit on a scooter (motorbike) and curve in and out of other motorcycles and cars (Very very few) in the packed roads like a stuntman! No joke!!!

Another thing is that the buildings there are pretty packed as the land is expensive, so their houses are skinny but tall! Nice, it's like the 'London of Asia!'

Speaking of Asia, Vietnamese food to me is one of the best Asian foods bursting with flavor! I am hooked on their beef noodles and their extremely mind blowing ice-cream baby! *POW!* it would keep you coming back for more...

I spent a couple of nights there, so i had the time to visit their market place and shops in town and the underground war tunnels made by the Vietnamese Guerrillas in the Vietnam War. I was speechless when i went underground into the tunnel. It is extremely tight and cramped in there. The tunnels could go as deep as 30m and as long as up to 4km! The height of the tunnel was half of my height so i had to walk with my back hunched the whole time and only twice the width of my frame. Take a look at the amazing structure...

Well, i am glad to be back in humid Singapore...
Back to sweating all day again!

and guess what, I will be off to Thailand this Saturday! Yup, you can be sure i am spending my holiday time wisely.

Will be having a movie marathon with my girlfriend later on, but before that gym at 9am!
Oh did i tell you that this Weds will be our 20th Anniversary? Hehe yes yes.

Living life slow

It has been awhile! What have i been up to?

Living life slow is what i have been up to. Since i don't have such a busy schedule, i get to relax... watch the clouds go by and have no worries in my mind. Not to mention, having a lot of time to spend with my girlfriend... which makes us both overjoyed!

Lately, i have been taking buses a lot more than usual. I have grown very fond of it now and you get to be aware of your surroundings more as you don't get to your destination as fast as driving your own car or taking a cab! You will need to walk more and that keeps you fit too! This will encourage you to enjoy life's greatest gifts... such as nature: fresh air, the warm glow of the sun and lush plants all around you. "Ahhhhh, what a wonderful world!"

Besides, i love to enjoy a relaxing ride home with my girlfriend in the bus. It really is something to appreciate... being with someone you truly love and just letting that be, nothing else.

I have discovered a couple of interesting things so far on my walks, bus rides and such. Check them out:

Firstly, I discovered this tv show from japan in the bus. It's called "Ninja Warrior" and it's the most awesome show i have ever seen. Here are some videos for you!

The latest interesting thing i have seen is this... which happened today as we were walking along orchard road. We heard music coming closer to use, and when we turned around we saw this vehicle arrive. Man, some people love to pimp their ride way too much! Hahaha!

I recieved a letter today

I was about to have my dinner. But decided to check if i had any mail, so i opened up a letter which was addressed to me and guess what...

IT WAS THE THUMBS UP TO ENTER LASALLE COLLEGE OF THE ARTS!

Jacky my Dawg

Introducing to you! My dog!!! Jacky Chan. Well no, he's just Jacky. I adopted him when he was coming close to a year old. His previous owner had abused him so i feel now it is my turn to give him the joy of living a better life in a better home. Of course, with a much more loving owner! Hahaha. Oh yeah, he's a mixed breed. He may be no poodle or pedigree but i love him more than any other dog! He has been with me for over a year now and i am sure he's living the good life!

So, i came back home today and he was all over me... hyper as ever! He's a shy dog, but once he knows you... he will dance with you! Literally! I took these videos just now...

I came home today after a movie called "School Days With A Pig" with my girlfriend. It based on a true story, which taught me about life, responsibility and how humans can get so emotionally attached to animals... in this case a cute loving pig! More info here in Nippon Cinema! Yesterday, right after our Lindy Hop Class (Swing Dance), my girlfriend and i had an argument. The next day (today), we are more in love than ever.

Relationships have ups and downs...

Everlasting Passion

My girlfriend and i celebrated our one and half years anniversary today! I feel that our relationship has matured since the beginning. Things do get bumpy sometimes, but true love patches things up. I have witnessed it. Love is not perfect, and we are not the perfect couple. We are almost completely different from one other. We argue, we cry, we forgive. Nothing shall stop true love, and i know she is the love of my life.

My dear, every time i see you, i see a flashback of the time my eyes had set upon yours on the first day we met. That image and feeling shall always remain in my heart till the end of time...

So on this very special day, every month on the 10th we celebrate FuFoo Day! We call our anniversary day that because it's a creation of both our last names! Her's is Fujita and mine is Foo so we incredibly forged and created the oh so cute name: FuFoo! Two minds are better than one eh!? Hahaha!

To celebrate our very special day, we had a sumptuous buffet at The Line. It so happened that today was Easter, so i was surprised to wake up and find my parents still at home and not at work! We enjoyed dishes from all over the world, over a splendid two hours. Dessert was of course fantastic!!!!!!

Honoka Fujita, the best girlfriend in world bought me an anniversary present! She knew i had lost my favorite phone strap just a few days ago, so she went with me to choose a new one and bought it for me!!! I am really GRATEFUL for the present! It looks way better and my phone strap now means so much more to me! I'm touched, honto ni arigatou!

We went with our tradition of taking print club photos! I sneaked in my Creative Vado to film behind the scenes hehe. A free shuttle bus picked us up from Orchard to Suntec City after that. We met some wild kids along the way!

My girlfriend and i love acting as tourists, so we went on Duck Tours! No it's not some kind of disney adventure. Haha, it's a tour you get around the Esplanade Area on land and on sea! The vehicle can handle both terrain. We enjoyed it a lot! In fact, we found it too short, all though it was an hour.

One and a half years baby! The beginning of a lifetime of wonderful experiences to come! Arigatou Honio! Zutto Soba ni iruyo! ^^

Couple Days: Part II

Today,

We visited the cinemas to watch KNOWING staring Nicolas Cage. It was a really interesting movie with great visuals! Do check it out, in theatres near you! If you happen to go to it at Shaw Lido Digital, word to the wise: bring a jacket along as it's minus zero degrees in there.

We had always wanted to try out The Coffee Club at Takashimaya, and we finally did today. The food and drinks tasted great with reasonable portion. While we were waiting for our dishes, i tried to act cool... and failed.

So soon came our favorite time of the night, dessert time! The highlight of the day would have to be the Chocolate Fondue! With Fresh fruits and Marshmallows!

Our bellies were just so satisfied that we just fell asleep on the way home!

Couple Days: Part I

Couple Days, as the title states. Very true indeed, as I have spent these two days with my girlfriend. A very fun-filled Wednesday and Thursday!

On Weds, we went window shopping at Plaza Singapura and Raffles Place. Seriously taking the time to just browse every single store will let you discover many wonderful things to buy. Things that you may not have spotted when you were rushing through the shops. So slow down and try not to rush!

If you are a fan of Pepper Lunch and you want to save your precious dollars, head over to Plaza Singapura, the new food court on level 6 if i am not wrong. It's on the same level as the YAMAHA Store/School where i learn my Saxophone! Well, you get exactly the same beef and rice for just over $5.50! Half the price of the usual cost at Pepper Lunch outlets! They even throw in miso soup for you free! Picture below!

We then headed over to Raffles Place and enjoyed walking in and out of stores without buying anything. Trust me, it's not has bad as you think! We sat down at MOS Burger and this was what our fooling around got us doing...

And we decided not to waste anymore time, so we went searching for some crazily delicious dessert! We stumbled across a stall in the basement called Yoguru! You choose the type of yogurt. There are two types. The Original flavor and another one which was passion fruit. We tried the original, and you can select up to 3 toppings of fresh fruits and sprinkles! The yogurt ice cream just melts on your tongue, and the flavor will burst onto your taste buds. It leaves you in utter pleasure. You have to try it. It's not a recommendation, it's an order!

Yes it's 2009 and that's right! I am back for more blogging!

Phew! Last year was a wild one, and my one year of Art studies made me realize i have the passion only for Music! That's right, there has just been a huge turning point in my life. I have chosen to do music as a career! Right now i await my interview results from Lasalle College, Music School. I hope i got in, as the interview was a grooling 5 hours. I hope all my friends that i made there, at the interview got in as well. There were lots of drummers and guitarists and even a rapper from Philippines. Within two weeks we will know the outcome. I'm nervous!

Wow and 2009 has definitely been a fresh new start for me! I have been extremely outgoing with my girlfriend, teaching deejay to a number of people and just enjoying the Good Life!

House Dance

It's true, tomorrow i will experience my first ever House dance lesson. I have been interested in this dance for many years now and i will be able to try it out! Hurray! I feel that this dance is pretty freestyle based and i will have a lot of fun creating my own moves to the crisp strong BOOM BOOM BOOM house beats.

Day on wheels

I spent half of today on my new bike. The day consisted of the perfect weather conditions for testing out the efficiency of my fold-able bicycle. Everything went smooth. I cycled over 30km today, and it was raining cats and dogs. We took the bus once to try out if we could bring the bikes in, and to my delight, we were not stopped. It is so easy to bring this bike anywhere i go. My friend and i really had a good time soaked in water. Besides cycling, i hanged around the dance studio i used to go to and jammed with old and new friends.

If you have noticed, there was a small boom-box speaker in front of my bike. The music came from there! Played our favorite hits all day long! The bike wheels may look small, but it is fast i tell you.

The good, great and wonderful news

Today i had tons of fun jamming with my schoolmates. The whole band was here! We also had fun switching around the instruments to play different roles and we found out that we could play many instruments. That is the good news. Our male vocalist was kind of sick today so his voice was not the best it could be. Our female vocalist was behind the camera for this song.

We played a little of Sweet Child of Mine by the legendary Guns & Roses.

I got a huge treat from my old buddy of mine at Sakae Sushi, and we had buffet of more than 20 plates in total. The price was astronomical. Right after that we headed to my Arts College to practice our break-dancing with another good friend. All of us used to practice together almost everyday, until my school started and my time ran short! I do miss those days... That is the great news!

Oh my, when i thought the day could not get any better, it does. My mum says i can get a foldable bike for my birthday present! An early gift she says. I've always wanted one. Golly!

Here it is! Aint it a beauty. It's kind of cute but it's made out of the strongest and lightest frame. It can be folded in merely 8 seconds and carrying it around is completely effortless. It will be really useful for me, bringing it along on public transport and opening it when i reach the roads i destine to ride. It's been some time since i last rode my bike. It was a BMX and somehow the wheel fell off when i was going down a slippery wet hill. It was like some Final Destination movie. Except that i didn't die, thankfully. That is the wonderful news! My mate who gave me a huge dinner treat tonight is staying over at my place. Tommorow we can ride to Orchard Road on our bikes and go for our dance lessons. I don't attend the lessons anymore though but i'll jam with the rest of the people after class.

George Sampson is brilliant. I admire his passion to dance his hardest, for his parents. He had won the Britain's Got Talent 2008 Final. He deserved to win it 100%, and now he and his parents can have a better living.

Again and again i have been watching his final performance. People like this madly inspire me. I want to dance now, right now.

Friday Frolic

Yes yes Ladies and Gentlemen, the gateway to the weekend has been opened. Let us be the first to enter! What does this Saturday and Sunday have in store for you?

Oh my buttercake, Guess what? Next week there are almost no classes at all! It's time to have a week without worries. Well it's just 10 pass midnight. Haven't been able to sleep early these days. Life is just too exciting to doze of to. Yesterday (Friday), my girlfriend and i had a hard time finding a place to eat in Takashimaya. We really wanted to eat at a Japanese restaurant Tonkichi. See what turned up?

Oh by the way, when i said ouch it was because i got a little too close to the pillar and knocked myself. I know, sometimes i too wish i had more than two eyes on my face, ha.

Anyways, we found a place to munch at. We ended up at Pepper Lunch, where we had really great food and laughs.

After dinner we headed out and found a really cool store which sold really nifty sweets, toys and all things cute. Here are a couple of snapshots taken there. We really wanted to adopt that adorable Kapibara (1st picture)! Anyways you have to take a look at these amazingly slow and lazy animals. Some people even do keep them as pets!

Lasalle Love

I have been very fortunate. Lasalle College Of The Arts accepted me no more than a month ago. In the 3 weeks that has passed by, everything has turned out magnificent. I have met new and incredible friends. Friends who you could rely on and look up to and lecturers who truely train us up gold. The classes and whole aspect of how Lasalle College teaches is fresh. Fresh as cream on top of a steaming mocha latte.

I really believe that this college will open my future. Just like a narrow stream opening into the vast seas of the unknown. I see a bright future beyond me.

In my previous school, i have been a bothersome one to the teachers. I am sorry. I rarely did any work. But now i have been given another chance to proove i can make it. I will give all i've got. The homework load is large, and i'm gradually catching up with the pace of this race. I have to stand up on my own two feet now, change gears and strive for the top.

Now... more about my day. Today contained the hardest subjects of my entire week. 2D and 3D classes. 3D was a real handful of dung. Our teacher kept on telling us what to do with our group project, but after we have planned a layout, she says it's WRONG. She says why didn't you listen? Don't just listen because you have to, listen because you want to. Well i am terribly sorry 3D Mdm. Most of our groups had to restart our whole plan of our sculptor because of that. My group mate who designed an in-genius joint structure for our sculptor was pretty upset. We started going off track and started fooling around and laughing in class. Well we had all the time we needed for that because our teacher took forever to reach our group to supervise us. When she reached our table, she says that she is tired and wants to have a drink first. Hilarious, really.

Enough about that. After class, we creeped back to the marble basement floor to breakdance alittle bit. That took off a couple of pounds of stress from classwork! Phew what a day.

Tommorow will be fun. Drawing time baby! Oh guess what, it'll be Friday tommorow. We all love that day don't we? Hip hip horray.

I guess i kind of lost track of time. Started at around 2am working on my new blog. Now right before my parents wake up at 6, i shall get some vital rest! I still can not get to understand how one can be a morning person.

What a great opening post for my brand new blog huh. Oh my, i just heard my maid preparing breakfast for my parents, she wakes up at like 5.30? It's utter madness i tell you.

Speaking of madness, i will go completely insane if i do not get some sleep.
I sincerely apologize for such a post with lack of nutrition. Ha ha, lack of nutrition? i am really going nuts! Oh no class starts at 9, darn.

Oh i will share more of my extravagant day with you later on fellas. i promise. YAWN
